Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I write here.

I’m a Brooklyn-based journalist and creative writer. I earned an MA in strategic communication from American University; a BFA in theater, English, and film from Ohio University; and went to journalism boot camp at The Daily Reporter in Central Ohio. I currently work as a web news producer/editor for AARP.org and make music videos, westerns, food, whiskey & theater with these kids from a crazy communal living experiment in Greenpoint. It’s no Washington, D.C., or Appalachia, but …

• You can see some of my clips here.

• My plays have been produced at Goddamn Cobra’s Literary Feast supper club (Brooklyn, 2010), in Tip My Cup Productions’ ‘Quickie’ festival (Manhattan, 2009) and in the 2005 and 2006 Columbus, Ohio, Fringe Festivals.
